Just a few weeks later and the 36" of snow is gone, the ice is off the pond and we hit 80 degrees yesterday! I've resisted the urge to start rambling around the yard and digging in the gardens because the ground is still pretty soft, but I have sat out on the deck and grilled out several times already. I am not ready to put away all the warm clothes just yet, the average last frost date in my area is May 10th.
Spring is like morning, don't you think? The earth has a completely different 'day' as it circles around the sun. Instead of morning, noon and night, it has spring, summer, fall and winter. As I think about this, I am amazed by the simplicity and complexity of everything in creation. I realize there are many things I will yet learn about this existence and many things I may not understand, but I have faith that God knows and will reveal to me more of his love everyday.
